Benjamin C. Burns

Ben’s practice is litigation focused. Ben excels at trial work and is driven by getting positive results and favorable jury verdicts for his clients.

Prior to joining Dry Creek, Ben was a litigator at Doney Crowley, P.C., a local Helena Montana firm, Knight Nicastro MacKay, LLC, a national litigation firm, and at Davis Hatley Haffeman & Tighe, P.C., in Great Falls, Montana where he represented both insurers and insureds in a wide variety of complex legal matters. Ben has tried multiple jury trials and bench trials to verdict and has successfully defended his clients in complex tort and wrongful death cases, real property lawsuits, products liability lawsuits, and both first and third-party insurance matters. He has also represented a number of corporations in various tort claims, wrongful termination lawsuits, and other compliance matters.

Ben also clerked with the Third District Court of Appeal in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
